JOB TITLE: CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER in a TOP MANUFACTURING COMPANY

REPORTS TO: MANAGING DIRECTOR/CEO
JOB SUMMARY:
The Chief Financial Officer is responsible for tracking cash flow and financial planning and analyzing the company’s financial strengths and weaknesses and proposing strategic directions and managing lower-level financial managers.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Providing leadership, direction, and management of the finance and accounting team
· Drive the company financial planning, management, and reporting
· Provide management with timely, complete, and accurate financial information for
business decision-making.
· Developing and managing a reliable cash flow projection process and reporting
mechanism that guarantees a minimum cash threshold to meet operating needs.
· Optimize the management of banking relationships and initiate appropriate strategies
to enhance the company’s cash position.
· Overseeing the company’s budgeting process & ensuring full implementation and
monitoring of the agreed budget.
· Manage the external audit relationship
· Optimize the business tax liabilities and ensure timely submission of tax returns.
· An adviser to the MD and Board of Directors on how to allocate resources to ensure
stability and growth
· Any other responsibilities assigned by the Board
JOB REQUIREMENTS
· BSc/BA in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field.
· Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Financial management and 4 years in a senior
management position.
· In-depth knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices
· Strong financial and accounting background, including an understanding of profit and
loss, balance sheet and cash flow management, and general finance and budgeting.
· Experience with corporate governance.
· Proven negotiation skills.
· Experience with budget management, public accounting, and cash flow.
· Ability to understand new issues quickly and make wise decisions.
· Ability to inspire confidence and create trust.
· Ability to work under pressure, plan personal workload effectively, and delegate.
· Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods
· Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software (e.g. SAP)

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: ₦400,000.00 - ₦500,000.00 per month
